È dimostrato scientificamente che seguire una dieta variata, che comprende alimenti provenienti da tutti i gruppi alimentari,mantiene il nostro organismo in salute e riduce l’insorgenza di malattie. Non bisogna commettere l’errore di credere che limitarsi a mangiare solo alcuni cibi porti gli stessi benefici ottenuti con una dieta mediterranea. Solo dalla presenza di tutti gli alimenti sia di origine vegetale che animale, si ottiene la completezza e l’equilibrio nutrizionale.
Quindi si al un elevato consumo di frutta e verdura di stagione, legumi e cereali, ad un moderato consumo di carni bianche e rosse, pesce, uova, formaggi.
Per quanto riguarda il dolce, è concesso solo 1 volta a settimana( cornetto a colazione) e mai a fine giornata.
